Teeth whitening

A white smile radiates confidence and beauty, but sadly our teeth inevitably become discoloured by certain foods and drinks such as tea, coffee, red wine, and smoking. Teeth that are deeply stained cannot be treated with a scale and polish or whitening toothpastes and the only way to get truly white teeth is with tooth whitening (bleaching) treatment.

Here at Freshdental Smile Clinic we offer three different tooth whitening options to suit all patient requirements and budgets.

Zoom - Advanced PowerTooth whitening

Using the latest high-tech Zoom Advanced whitening lamp as seen on "Extreme Makeover", your teeth can be whitened to a degree of eight shades brighter in little over an hour while you relax. It's ideal for anyone who wants instant whitening results, and also for those who want a swift boost before a special occasion. We advise that you also have home whitening kits to top up your pearly whites every few months.

Enlighten Deep Bleaching

Enlighten deep bleaching - this is the most highly developed whitening system on the market today. This system is so effective that it can also lighten teeth that have been stained by tetracycline antibiotics. This would involve taking a mould of your teeth initially which is then used to construct special patented sealed whitening trays at Enlighten Smiles Laboratory. Approximately 10 days later you will be given your whitening trays and a 14 day supply of deep bleaching Enlighten gel. You wear the trays with the gel overnight for 14 days. Following this you would visit the practice again for our In-surgery enlighten power whitening session. As this process takes 2 weeks it is therefore not as instantaneous as zoom, but the results tend to be more dramatic.

Ultimate whitening package

For the ultimate white teeth try our whitening package which allows you to take advantage of both systems to give you a dazzling white smile. It involves a hygiene visit, stain removal treatment and 14 days of home whitening using Enlighten deep bleaching system, followed by a one hour Zoom Advanced power laser whitening session. This system achieves by far the best results we at Freshdental Smile Clinic have seen.
