How does it work?

The Inman Aligner employs a lingual coil spring that puts pressure on the back of the teeth that need repositioning and a wire across the front of the teeth that reverses the same pressure. These components work together to "squeeze" teeth together by pushing and pulling them into alignment. You do have the option of not wearing the appliance, but the longer you wear the Inman Aligner the quicker the results. It is recommended that you wear the appliance for a minimum of 16 to 20 hours a day.

The Inman aligner is not as "invisible" as Invisalign but has many of the advantages that the Invisalign system has over traditional braces, one being that it is removable so that is doesn't disturb your eating and oral hygiene. In additional to this all movements are achieved with a single aligner so there is no need to change your aligners every week.
